Gifting a Quran to Pilgrims: The Reward of Spreading Knowledge at the Holiest Place on Earth

The Quran is not just a book — it is the direct speech of Allah, a mercy, a guidance, and a healer for the hearts of those who receive it with sincerity. To place a copy of the Quran in the hands of a pilgrim at the Two Holy Mosques is to participate in one of the most spiritually rewarding acts a Muslim can perform. It is Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous, ongoing charity whose rewards may flow to the giver long after the gift has been given.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that the very best of people are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others: "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." These are the places where the Quran was first revealed, where the Prophet ﷺ recited it, and where millions of Muslims gather each year with hearts fully open to Allah's guidance. A pilgrim receiving a Quran at the Kaaba is likely to open it and recite at the most spiritually profound moment of their life.
