🕋 Haramain Services does not post items to your address. Every gift, sacrifice and service you order is carried out on your behalf in Makkah or Madinah by our team on the ground. What you receive is confirmation — including photographic proof — that it has been completed.
Where distribution takes place
- Gifts — Qurans, prayer mats, water, meal boxes, tasbih, umbrellas and wheelchairs are distributed within and around Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
- Zabiha and Qurbani — performed within the Hudood of Haram, Makkah al-Mukarramah.
- Hajj and Umrah Badal — performed by our registered volunteers.
Where a product allows you to choose a city, your selection is followed. Where no choice is shown, distribution takes place wherever the need is greatest at that time.
How quickly each service is carried out
Gift distribution — We begin arranging your gift immediately. Distribution takes place in scheduled batches, usually within a few days of your order.
Sadaqah Zabiha — Carried out as soon as possible after your order. Sadaqah carries no fixed date in the Sharia, so we do not delay it.
Dum / Kaffarah Zabiha — treated as urgent. A pilgrim who owes a Dam is often waiting on it before they can proceed. We therefore treat Dum orders as our highest priority and perform them without delay, confirming to you as soon as it is done so that you may continue your rites with a clear heart, in sha Allah.
Hajj Zabiha (Hady) — Performed on the appointed days of sacrifice during Hajj.
Eid ul Adha Qurbani (Udhiyah) — Performed on the days of sacrifice, beginning after the Eid prayer on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah.
Umrah Badal and Hajj Badal — Performed on the date you select at the time of ordering. Hajj Badal is necessarily performed during the Hajj season.
The days of sacrifice
The sacrifice may not be performed before the Eid prayer on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever sacrifices before the prayer, let him repeat it.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
The 10th of Dhul Hijjah — Yawm an-Nahr — is the most virtuous day, followed by the Days of Tashriq. The Hanafi and Maliki schools hold the sacrifice valid until sunset on the 12th; the Shafi’i school extends this to sunset on the 13th.
Haramain Services performs all sacrifices between the Eid prayer on the 10th and sunset on the 12th of Dhul Hijjah. This timing is agreed upon by all four schools, so your sacrifice is valid whichever you follow, in sha Allah.
Proof of completion
Once your order is completed you will receive confirmation by email including photographic proof. For large batch distributions, proof may be provided as images of the batch rather than of each individual item — this keeps costs low so that more of your contribution reaches the people it is intended for.
Ordering on behalf of someone else
You may place any order in the name of another person, living or passed away. Add their name in the order notes at checkout and we will record your intention accordingly.
What can delay an order
- Peak periods such as Ramadan, Hajj and Eid, when access to the mosques is restricted
- Local supply availability
- Instructions from the authorities governing the Haramain
- Incomplete or unclear order details
If we cannot complete your order within a reasonable period, we will contact you before taking any further action.
